Make A Difference Day 2008
Across the nation, Action Centers, nonprofits, faith-based groups, families and individuals are making plans to participate in the 18th annual Make A Difference Day, the largest national day of helping others, on Oct. 25, 2008.

Day of Action: Sept. 27
Points of Light Institute and HandsOn Network, along with the organizations co-convening ServiceNation, engaged millions volunteers in a national Day of Action on Saturday, September 27. More than 2,200 service events occurred in all 50 states. Points of Light hopes that every citizen will use this day as a challenge to begin making each day of action
