University of Phoenix is pleased to be an official education partner of the HandsOn Network. Together, we will work to provide educational opportunities to HandsOn Network volunteers and national affiliate staff. As part of the partnership, the University of Phoenix has established the “Serve It Forward” Scholarship program with the HandsOn Network, the volunteer-focused arm of Points of Light Institute, which is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation.
Through the Serve It Forward scholarship program individual volunteers will be empowered to achieve their educational goals and career aspirations, including the further development of their leadership and service abilities. As part of an ongoing commitment to provide access to educational opportunities and help promote quality leaders in our communities, University of Phoenix in partnership with HandsOn Network offers twenty (10) full-tuition and fee scholarships to volunteers to start and complete an undergraduate or master’s degree program of choice. Recipients may choose to attend a University of Phoenix local campus or may attend University of Phoenix online.
