As the prevalence of Employee Volunteer Programs continues to grow and corporate America reports their activities and impact, it is important to apply standard definitions to this work. Standards allow the corporate volunteer community to track trends, benchmark our programs and encourage better practices. HandsOn Network's Corporate Service Council is proud to present the newly revised 2010 Employee Volunteer Program (EVP) Reporting Standards (formerly known as the Corporate Volunteer Reporting Standards).

The Corporate Volunteer Reporting Standards can be used to:

  • Develop a framework for setting evaluation protocols for your company's EVP
  • Establish a common baseline for benchmarking with consistent comparisons and common reporting
  • Encourage greater corporate community involvement through competition generated by benchmarking results
  • Communicate the internal and external corporate benefits of EVPs more effectively
  • Facilitate data-driven program decision-making
  • Identify program areas of strengths, weaknesses, and needs

In this webinar, participants will:

  • Learn and discuss the 10 EVP Reporting Standards in-depth
  • Link standards to organizational reporting and gain strategies for adoption
    • Discuss types of data, tracking mechanisms, and ways to aggregate and analyze information
    • Learn how to collect data and track against the standards
  • Discover how to report the results of the standards
    • Identify when to report, what to report, who to report to and be able to discuss the application of results for continuous program improvement

This session will be led by Syreeta Skelton, Associate Director of Evaluation & Performance Measurement at Points of Light Institute.
