The legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will again be celebrated on January 17, 2011. The 2011 year marks the 25th year of observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Holiday. We will celebrate with a renewed commitment to the ideals set forth by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., inspiring Americans to transform their communities through service, commitments to service and civic dialogue.
Through the generous support of the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) and our National Partners, we are pleased to announce our Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service grants to our network of Affiliate, non-profit and government members (network) and community partners (non-network) for the annual MLK Day of Service on January 17, 2011.
